Third-Party Risk

Third party risk is the potential for an organization to suffer a data breach or other cyber attack as a result of third-party vendors, suppliers or partners that have access to their systems or data. Third party risks occur when a third-party doesn’t have the necessary security measures in place to defend against cyber threats, providing an easier way for threat actors to attack even the most sophisticated of security systems.
